How do I schedule a campaign so it does not send on holidays?

When creating a repeat campaign schedule, you have the option to skip holidays. So if a repeat scheduled send falls on a set holiday, it will automatically be scheduled to the following day instead.

To schedule a campaign to skip holidays:
  1. Under the Schedule Campaign section in the Preview and Send Step, click the "Show" text link next to Advanced.
  2. Tick the box "Repeat scheduled send".
  3. Tick the box "Skip holidays".
  4. Click on the "Holidays" text link which will open the Scheduled Skip Holiday setting and let you specify the holiday dates. If you need to refer to a list of holidays by country, click here.
  5. Click the Add Holiday button.
  6. Enter the Name, Day and Month for the Holiday and click the Add button.
  7. Click the Add Holiday button to add additional holidays, otherwise click the Update button.
Note the "Skip Holidays" option will only apply to repeat sends of the campaign. The first send of the campaign will be on the date you specified under the scheduling options (even if that day is a holiday).

You can also add/update the holidays in your account via your account settings:
  1. Click Settings in the upper right of your screen.
  2. Click the My Settings tab.
  3. Using the search bar on the right side, search for the setting "Scheduled Skip Holiday".
  4. Click the Scheduled Skip Holiday setting name.
  5. To add a holiday, click the Add Holiday button.
  6. To edit/remove an existing holiday, click the drop down arrow next to the holiday.
  7. Click the Update button once you have finished making all of your changes.
