Share on Social Networks

You can include links within your campaign content that allow recipients to share the campaign with their social networks, and you can easily share your campaign on your own social networks by clicking the icons that appear immediately after sending a campaign, or on an ad hoc basis. 


To insert links that allow recipients to share the campaign with their social networks:

  1. Go to the Content step of an in progress campaign.
  2. Click into the editable area at the point you wish to insert the links to social networks.
  3. Click the Create Link icon in the editing toolbar, and click the Social Networks tab.
  4. Enter a title, which will be the text that appears before the campaign URL when recipients share the campaign.
  5. Tick the box next to the social network icon(s) you wish to include in your campaign content.
  6. Select an icon style: small square icons, large square icons, small circle icons, or large circle icons.
  7. By default, the links will open in a new window when clicked by recipients so that they will also have your original campaign open after visiting those links. Alternatively if desired, you can deselect the checkbox to open the links in a new window.
  8. Click the Create Link to Social Networks button.


To share your campaign on social networks immediately after sending:

  1. Click the Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn icons that appear immediately after sending a campaign.
  2. In the Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn sub-navigation items, click on the Share on Twitter, Share on Facebook, or Share on LinkedIn buttons.
  3. You will be taken directly to the social network site where you can share your content.


To share your campaign on an ad hoc basis:

  1. Click the down arrow icon next to an In Progress, Scheduled or Sent campaign, and select More.
  2. Click the Social Media tab.
  3. In the Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn sub-navigation items, click on the Share on Twitter, Share on Facebook, or Share on LinkedIn buttons.
  4. You will be taken directly to the social network site where you can share your content.

This allows you to directly control the information that will be displayed on the social site. For example, where a campaign has multiple images, you may be able to choose which image to display with your post.

You can also access a short URL as well as the full campaign URL (which is the same URL that can be found when you click the down arrow and select View - it can be posted anywhere at any time to represent the current version of the campaign when clicked).

To insert links that allow recipients to share a specific URL with their social networks:

  1. Go to the Content step of an in progress campaign.
  2. Click into the editable area at the point you wish to insert the links to social networks.
  3. Click the Create Link icon in the editing toolbar, and click the Social Networks tab.
  4. Enter a title.
  5. Tick the box next to the social network icon(s) you wish to include in your campaign content.
  6. Select an icon style: small square icons, large square icons, small circle icons, or large circle icons.
  7. By default, the links will open in a new window when clicked by recipients so that they will also have your original campaign open after visiting those links. Alternatively if desired, you can deselect the checkbox to open the links in a new window.
  8. Click the "Show" text link next to Advanced.
  9. Enter the URL that you want recipients to share on their social network.
  10. Click the Create Link to Social Networks button.

This will allow your recipients to share on their social networks the URL that you entered instead of the Campaign URL.
