Organize Images and Files

The menu bar at the top of the content library as well as folders can be used to manage your files and images:

Menu Bar Options
  • Display - filter the content that is displayed for the selected folder to show only Images, Video, Audio or Files
  • View - view the content in the selected folder by thumbnails or in a list
  • Perform - use the drop down menu to move or delete multiple pieces of content at once
  • Search - enter a full or partial image or file name to search across all folders
Folder Options
  • >> or << icon - show or hide folders when managing your files and images
  • "Add Folder" text link - add folders to help organize your images and files
  • Down arrow icon for additional options:
    • Rename the folder
    • Share the folder with other users
    • Delete the folder (note deleting the folder will not delete the images in the folder; it will move the images to the Unsorted folder)
To move a single image or file:
  1. Click the 6 dots icon to the left of the image or file.
  2. Drag the image or file to a new folder.
To move several images or files at once:
  1. Check the box next to the items you wish to move.
  2. Look at the top of the menu bar, and make sure the correct number displays in the "With selected files (--)" text.
  3. Click the Perform drop down menu, and select Move to Folder.
  4. Select the folder from the drop down menu, and click Move; or click Add Folder, enter the new folder name, and click Move.
To move all the images and files from a single folder:
  1. Click on the folder's name.
  2. Look at the top of the menu bar, and make sure the correct number displays in the "With all files (--)" text.
  3. Click the Perform drop down menu, and select Move to Folder.
  4. Select the folder from the drop down menu, and click Move; or click Add Folder, enter the new folder name, and click Move.

At bottom of the each page of content is a text link to "Show All". At any time you can click this link to see the full list of all content in that particular folder.
