Why is my table not formatting the way I want it to?

In most cases, if a table does not render the way you want it to, it can be attributed to one of two reasons:

1. Content was copied from another source (such as a Microsoft Word document, a website, or another campaign) and pasted into the table, bringing along with it extraneous formatting that can lead to issues when you are trying to modify the table.
or
2. A particular peice of content (such as an image or a URL) that has been inserted into a table cell is forcing a row wide or a column tall.

To resolve the issues that can be seen with copying and pasting text into the campaign from other sources, you may need to start a new table. Once the table has been setup, only paste "clean" text into the table by first copying and pasting into Notepad and then copy and paste into the table.

To resolve the issues that can be seen with an image or a URL that could be distorting your table, it is important to remember than any image or URL inserted will drive the dimensions of that particular table cell and thus the table (and will also overrule any cell widths or heights you had established if the images force the cells wider or taller than those widths or heights).

We would recommend removing all of the images and URLs and confirming that you have the table structured the way you intend when there is no image content. Then you can add in each image individually - possibly also resizing the images as you go to ensure that they are not forcing a row or column too tall or too wide.
