Why is a contact who is shown as opted out in my account not displayed as opted out in the stream?
This means the contact was opted out in a way that was not a result of your campaign activity.
The stream report only logs your campaign activity - such as when a recipient clicks an unsubscribe link.
Any contacts who are classified as opted out but not showing as opted out in the stream report would have been opted out via one of these methods, which are not logged in your stream report:
- Opt out at another level, such as from your office or company
- Manual opt out from your Contacts section
- Automatic opt out as a result of a spam report
