Why can't I delete the primary profile? What is the primary profile?

The primary profile is based on information, including name and email address, provided when your account was first created.

Although it cannot be deleted, you can add a new profile and set it as the default for all new campaigns.

To setup a new default profile:

  1. Go to the Home page, and click Profiles in the "Manage" box.
    or
    Go to Content step of an in progress campaign, and click the Manage Profiles text link next to the From Profile email address.
  2. Click the Add Profile button.
  3. Enter the details for the new profile, and click the Add and Close button.
  4. Click the down arrow next to the new profile, and select Set as Default.
NOTE: Depending upon your company's settings, a physical address may be required to be entered before the profile can be saved and/or before a campaign can be sent using that profile. Some templates may also pre-populate with profile details. Contact your administrator or us for additional information.
