Why can't I delete the default profile? What is the default profile?

The default profile is used for all new campaigns, so it cannot be deleted.

You can edit the details within the default profile or select a new profile to be used as the default.

To edit or change the default profile:

  1. Go to the Home page, and click Profiles in the "Manage" box.
    or
    Go to Content step of an in progress campaign, and click the Manage Profiles text link next to the From Profile email address.
  2. The default profile will be indicated with the "(Default Profile)" text immediately after it.
  3. To edit the default profile, click the down arrow next to the profile, and select Edit.
    or
    To change the default profile, click the down arrow next to the profile you wish to make the default, and select Set as Default.
NOTE: Depending upon your company's settings, a physical address may be required to be entered before the profile can be saved and/or before a campaign can be sent using that profile. Some templates may also pre-populate with profile details. Contact your administrator or us for additional information.
