How can I track my campaigns in Google Analytics?
Our system's link tagging setting can be used to automatically tag all links in your campaigns with UTM codes so they can be tracked in Google Analytics.
As with all settings, the link tagging setting can be applied at a client, group or partner level for a company so that users do not need to individually setup link tagging. Contact your Administrator for additional information or to request they turn on link tagging for your company.
To enable link tagging:
- Locate the Link Tagging setting at the appropriate level (user, client, group or partner) via search or under the Email > Other section.
- Click the Link Tagging setting name.
- Click the Enable Link Tagging for Google Analytics button. This will automatically setup the following 3 parameters for all links:
utm_source will be recorded as CampaignBreeze
utm_medium will be recorded as email
utm_campaign will be recorded as [your campaign subject line]_[the date your campaign was sent in mm dd yyyy format] - If you wish to modify any of those values, or specify only specific domain(s) to be tagged, click the Show text link next to the Advanced heading to make your changes.
