How do I change the text displayed to responders on the confirmation page or in the confirmation email?

For survey free text questions using the Confirm Email Address setting, by default general text has been setup for the confirmation page and in the confirmation email that responders receive.

To modify the text that appears on the confirmation page and/or in the confirmation email for a single survey:

  1. Edit the free text question, and if needed click the Show text link next to the Settings heading to expose the options.
  2. For the Confirm Email Address option, click the Customize text link that appears after Yes.
  3. Edit the text as desired in the Confirmation Page, Subject and/or Message fields.
  4. Click the Update button in the Confirm Email Address window when complete.
  5. Click the Update button to save your changes to the question.
  6. Click the Save button to save your changes to the survey.

To modify the default text that appears on the confirmation page and/or in the confirmation email for all surveys created in a single user account:

  1. Click the Settings text link in the upper right.
  2. Click the My Settings tab.
  3. Click Surveys in the sub-navigation menu.
  4. Click the "Confirmation Page" setting to edit the text that displays on the confirmation page, and click the Update button when complete to save your changes.
  5. Click the "Confirmation Email" setting to edit the text in the Subject and/or Message, and click the Update button when complete to save your changes.

To modify the default text that appears on the confirmation page and/or in the confirmation email for all surveys created in a Client, Group or Partner:

  1. Click the Admin text link in the upper right.
  2. If applicable, click the Groups or Clients tab to locate the specific group or client you wish to modify.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. Click Surveys in the sub-navigation menu, and locate the Confirm Email Address section.
  5. Click the "Confirmation Page" setting to edit the text that displays on the confirmation page, and click the Update button when complete to save your changes.
  6. Click the "Confirmation Email" setting to edit the text in the Subject and/or Message, and click the Update button when complete to save your changes.
